Greetings!

The first post is always difficult to write as I don’t know who will be reading. No doubt the first audience will be brothers and sisters and friends I have known in the past, now in different parts of the world. Greetings to all of you in the Lord! It is nice to be connected with you this way. I trust that the Lord has been with you all these years. May he continue to be with us in the years to come!

I am going to just introduce this blog briefly. As with my other blog (written in Chinese), this one will also be related to Bible Study, perhaps a little less technical. On the other blog, I might have subconsciously assumed that my readers are seminary students or students of the Bible in some way. I will not assume so on this blog. I could be wrong, and I hope I am wrong, but I feel that there is a tremendous need for interpretation and application of the Bible for people on all levels of Biblical literacy.

Also, on the other blog, although I was using blogging software, the content is primarily formal Bible studies. On this blog I might actually “talk.”

I am going to start with a book study, and I have picked the book of Ephesians. If time permits, however, I will go with two threads at the same time because there are plenty of issues that we Christians are facing and handling, and sometimes we cannot just push them aside.

If you did not know me in the past, it is terribly difficult to introduce oneself in a short blog post, but the blog is not really about me. It is about God and Bible Study, so I hope you will stay, and let us journey together through the book of Ephesians.

May the Lord be with you and bless you!

Let me close with a verse from the book: “To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Eph 3:21 NIV)
